Barbara Ann Daye, daughter of the Late Johnny Smith and Ella Mae Dorns Smith was born on February 17, 1956 and entered into eternal life on Saturday April 24, 2021.
Barbara Graduated from the schools of Aiken County, and retired from South Carolina Department of Corrections. At an early age Barbara joined Calidonia Missionary Baptist Church, where she later became affiliated with the Gospel Stair steppers, the PBS Choir, the kitchen committee and the Inspirational Choir.
Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Ted Day Jr. of the home; Her Daughters Tanya (Dwayne) Mathis, Nekisha Smith, Latoya Smith, LaTarsha Smith, Keisha (Martin) Ligons, Chaka (Bailey) Leaphart Tarshia (Keith) James and Tina (Amp) Morris; Sons Derrick Daye, Desmond (Dawn) Daye; Mother Ruby James; Sisters Betty Smith, Pamela (Marlon) Hudson, and Doris Smalls; Brothers Jerome (Janice) Smith, Rickie (Janice) Smith, Roger (Ethel) Smith, Alonzo (Geneva) Smith, David (Darlene) Smith, Jimmy (Belinda) Smith, Larry Smith, Richard James, Donald James, Ronnie James, Homer James Jr. ; Sister-in-Law Nellie Rutledge and Mary Davis; 11 Grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; an Aunt Louise James; an Uncle Milledge Dorns Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
