MRS. BETTY JEAN DENNIS, daughter of
James Corley and Elizabeth Dicks, was born on July 11, 1959. After a long-fought battle, she entered peacefully in the arms of the Lord and Savior on July 22, 2022.
Betty was educated in the Williston School District System graduating from Williston-Elko High School. She went on to marry the love of her life, Norris Dennis Jr., where they just celebrated 43 years. To this union, four children were born. She joined the Jordan Missionary Baptist Church at a tender age and remain there through her adult life serving in as the head kitchen committee.
Betty is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Dicks, three brothers, Harry James Sapp, Richard Dicks, and Robert Corley, and one sister, Annie Jean Cuthbertson. She leaves to cherish her love and precious memories: her loving husband, Norris Dennis, Jr., four children, Olympia Williams, Jacquline (Jerry)Crowley, Teresa Dennis, Norris Recardo (Mohemed)Dennis; six sister, Alice Dicks, Gloria Nellons, Patricia Corley, Sherry Williams, Blanche Ollison, Inez (Blane) Brooks; two brothers, Julius Williams, and Paul Anthony Williams; three brother-in-laws, Andrew (Rosa) Hicks, Gary Lee (Gladys) Hicks, and Henry (Jeanell) Allen; five sister-in-laws, Mary Catherine, Ora Mae (Doug) Hall, Rosa Smith, Jeanell Gaines, and Pam White; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, god-daughter, Angel Brown, special niece, Sherice Trice, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends
