The Celebration of the life of Lee Ann Chasten will be held on Saturday May 21, 2022 11:00 am at the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery in Springfield, South Carolina. Her viewing will be at the J. H. Robinson Funeral Home in Wagener, SC on Friday May 20, 2022 between the hours of 2 and 7 PM.
On Tuesday morning, May 10th, 2022, at the Lexington Medical Center, Lexington, South Carolina, the Lord called one of his loving children home.
Mrs. Lee Ann Chasten Kitchings, affectionately known as Calye Ann by family members and friends, was born October 24, 1940, to the late Brooks Kitchings, and the late Alaria Quattlebaum Kitchings in Aiken County, South Carolina.
Ann was baptized and joined Smyrna Batist Church in Springfield, South Carolina. She attended Gum Ridge School in Salley, South Carolina.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in her passing by her parents, two of her siblings, one brother, Brooker T. Kitchings and one sister Priscilla Kitchings.
Ann was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and devoted aunt. She will truly be missed.
Lee Ann Chasten Kitchings leaves those who shared the priceless joys of life with her, and now are left to cherish her memories; one daughter, Wanda Dunbar Grant of Brooklyn, New York; one son Joseph Louis Chasten of Wagener, South Carolina; Three grandchildren, Jasmine Alaria Chasten, Jeffery Hudgen, and Tremayne Dunbar; four Great grandchildren Skylar Hudgen, Stephon Dunbar, Kamrion Hudgen, and Aubre Dunbar; Two sisters Betty Kitchings of Brooklyn, New York and Pamela Kitchings Douglas of Upstate, New Your; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
