Thomas Robert Jenkins was born in Aiken County, SC on April 23, 1957. He was the son of the late Roosevelt Jenkins I, and the late Bertha Mae Jenkins. On Friday, May 8, 2020, Thomas answered the call to enter into eternal rest.
Thomas grew up in Aiken County, SC, graduating from Wagener-Salley High School, class of 1976. He later served his country in the Army for four years. Thomas was a member of Saron Baptist Church where he held the office as a deacon for 24 years and after relocating he was affiliated with Mt Monah Missionary Baptist Church.
Thomas was preceded in death by his daughters Teendra L. Hall and Dr. Keidre J. Corbett, and his son Travis Hall.
Thomas leaves to cherish the memories of the life he lived, his loving wife Arlinda B. Jenkins; his daughter, Deetra C. Jenkins; special daughters Amber D. Felder, and Veretta A. Thompson; special sons Marcus Hall, and Andre Corbett; 6 sisters, Betty (Rev. Eugene) Steadman, Rosa (Clevland) Scarbrough, Jessie Brown, Carrie (Elder George) Staley, Lauretta Thompson, and Hannah (Lavern) Gerald; 5 brothers, Roosevelt (Evelyna) Jenkins II, Rufus (Annethia) Jenkins, Joe (Diane) Jenkins, Calvin (Patricia) Jenkins, and James (Lekettia) Jenkins; one aunt Willia Mae Brown; Granddaughters, Lhalin Corbett, Savion Manuel, Maiyan Fogel,Ma'Liyah Fogel, Khalin Corbett, Imani Fogel; Brother and Sister in laws, Mary (Ronnie) Hudson, Rosa (James) Hall, Derotha Quattlebaum, Simon (Suzanne) Brown II, and James Brown; special nephew Simon Brown; Special Grandkids, Christopher Thompson, a’Niyah Mouzone, Charity Hall, and Joshua Hall; Special friends Robert Felder and Leroy Staley, and a host of other nieces, nephews cousins, other family members and friends.
